1) Estimated Monthly Strata Fees

NB: The above fees are estimated, and will vary
somewhat depending on actual unit size. The amount of the
fee is based upon the unit entitlement calculated on the size
of the units. The monthly fees include payment for garbage
removal, snow removal, landscaping, building insurance, property
management, all heating and cooling expenses including hot
water to the unit, and cablevision as well as a contribution
towards a contingency reserve for future expenses.
2) Property Taxes
Selkirk Inn Suites are located within the Town of Golden,
the year 2002 mill rate was .027. ($27 per $1,000 of assessed
value).
3) Other Operating Costs
Each individual owner will be responsible for the cost of
telephone. All other costs are included in the strata fees.
NB Care should be taken comparing the above strata fees with
other comparable buildings. The strata fees are very comprehensive
in this development. Cablevision typically for a base package
costs $50 a month, electrical costs $30/40 a month, winter
heating and summer cooling another $40/50 a month. These costs
should be deducted for comparison.
